LED Light Bulbs

A LED or light emitting diode acts as a semiconductor. It produces a solid beam of light which does not require a filament to be ignited to create light. Light is produced when electricity move through chemicals. Whilst this may appear a bit complex its application is very simple and very effective. Again, safety is one aspect which will keep LED light bulbs way ahead of its competitors. LED bulbs are a lot environment friendly. We already know they generate less heat. Generating less heat consumes less energy. This makes LEDs a real energy-efficient option. Another big ‘green’ plus is that LED bulbs are free from harmful substances like lead and mercury.
